General Information
The Rock Creek Planning Commission meets once a month, on the third Monday of every month at 6PM.
In January & February, due to the Holidays, the meeting is held on the third Tuesday at 6PM.
The Planning Commission is an advisory board to the City Council on planning and land use and makes recommendations to the Council on planning decisions.
The Planning Commission consists of seven members. One council appointee and six members from the resident population of the city, of which one can be a member at large with business ties to the city. All members are appointed by the city council as a whole.
The appointees shall be appointed to serve staggered terms for three years, expiring each year on July 31. Members can serve three consecutive terms with one year off before re-applying.
