NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of the City of Rock Creek will hold a Special City Council Meeting.

Location:       Rock Creek City Center

Purpose:
The purpose of this meeting is to discuss and take possible action regarding the purchase of a new Public Works pickup truck.

Notice is hereby given that the Rock Creek Planning Commission will conduct a public hearing Monday August 17, 2026 at 6PM at the Rock Creek City Center.

 

The purpose of this public hearing is to receive public comment regarding an Interim Use Permit application submitted by Robert Lindstrom to allow an additional dwelling unit for caretaker housing on property legally described as: R43.0377.000, 39.26 acres Sect-21 Twp-038 Range-021 Southwest 1/4 of Southwest 1/4 Less East 80 ft of West 580 ft of South 250 ft and Less South 16.5 ft of East 740 ft. PUBLIC NOTICE

Pursuant to M.S. 206.83, notice is hereby given that on the 7th day of August, 2026 at 9 a.m., a public accuracy test will be conducted to ascertain the voting system to be used at the City of Rock Creek for the Primary Election to be held on the 11th day of August, 2026, will correctly cast the votes for all candidates. This test will be held at the Rock Creek City Center, and will be open to representatives of the political parties, candidates, the press, and the public.

NOTICE OF FILING FOR THE 2026 GENERAL ELECTION
CITY OF ROCK CREEK

 

Notice is hereby given that the General Election for the City of Rock Creek will be held on Tuesday, November 3, 2026.

 

Candidates for the offices listed below may file Affidavits of Candidacy in the City Clerk's Office, 7000 State Highway 70, beginning Tuesday, July 14, 2026, and continuing through Tuesday, July 28, 2026. On the final day of filing, the Clerk's Office will be open until 5:00 p.m. Complete documents and filing fees must be physically received by 5:00 p.m. on July 28, 2026.

 

The filing fee for each office of candidacy is $2.00.

Mayor: Two-year term

City Council (two seats): Each a four-year term
